20-153 - Heavy Duty Driveline Parts and Services for DPW

End date: Wednesday May 6, 2020 at 2 p.m.

The City of Springfield Massachusetts through its Department of Public Works (“DPW”) is seeking bid responses from qualified vendors to purchase heavy duty driveline parts and services. The awarded contract will include required service/maintenance, repair and replacement of driveline parts, as needed.

All prices bid are to include pickup and delivery to the place designated by the DPW. No charges for pickup, delivery, drayage, parcel post, packing, cartage, insurance, license fees, or for any other purpose will be paid by the DPW.

Bidder must respond no more than 24 hours after initial call from DPW.

Vendor must provide a turn-around time of three (3) working days or less for parts and repairs once received on repair site.

All items covered by this contract shall be subject to inspection and acceptance at destination. Any material found to be damaged, as well as broken seals on packages or unmarked packages shall be removed and replaced by the Vendor at no cost to the DPW. All products delivered to ordering departments will be new and in unopened cases or boxes. Shipments must have an itemized packing slip.

Vendor must agree to perform all required services and supply all factory parts requested by DPW on Driveline Truck parts.

Vendor is required to be an Authorized Dealer for sale of Driveline Truck and Parts and Certified Repairs.

Vendor should have the ability to perform repairs onsite.
