At which time the Bid responses will be publically opened and read. IFB documents and specifications will be available beginning on January 9, 2020 in person at the Office of Procurement or through the City’s website; www.springfieldcityhall.com during normal business hour for no charge.
The City of Springfield, through its Department of Parks, Buildings & Recreation Management – Facilities Division is seeking bids from qualified vendors to provide is seeking bids from qualified vendors to provide Vehicle/Fleet Equipment as requested by the City. The purpose of this IFB is to meet the Vehicle/Fleet Equipment needs of all City of Springfield entities.
The intent of this IFB is to result in a contract or contracts that will enable the City of Springfield to meet its needs to purchase, Vehicle/Fleet Equipment, and associates accessories as needed for the contract term. The term of the Contract shall be for Three (3) Years. The amount of the contract will be for an amount not to exceed $100,000.00 for the entire duration of the contract.
Proposers must submit written questions to the Office of Procurement (ttheocles@springfieldcityhall.com) no later than 1/ 17/20 at 4:30 P.M. in order to be considered. The Office of Procurement fax number is (413) 787-6295.
All Proposals becomes the property of the City of Springfield. The Chief Procurement Officer/designee reserves the right to reject any and all proposals if it is in the best interest of the City to do so. The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women (MWBE) participation in all contracts.

No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
