at which time the bids will be privately opened and logged at the Office of Procurement.

RFP specifications can be requested in person at the Office of Procurement during normal business hours or through the City’s website, www.springfieldcityhall.com, for no charge beginning on 1/13/20.

The City of Springfield through its Department of Springfield Emergency Communications seeking bid responses from qualified vendors to furnish, supply, and deliver Thirteen (13) emergency call taking and dispatching furniture consoles and Thirteen (13) heavy-duty ergonomic dispatch chairs.

The equipment will be utilized by the Springfield Emergency Communications Department who is consolidating two Emergency Call Centers into one at the current Fire Department Dispatch facility in Springfield MA. The awarded contract will include both the furnishing and delivery of the specified equipment, as well as associated installation.

There will be an optional briefing session at 1/23/20 at 2:00 P.M. EST at 1212 Carew Street. All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be made in writing and received by the Office of Procurement no later than January 28, 2020, 4:30 P.M. in order to be considered (ttheocles@springfieldcityhall.com). Answers to questions will be made through numbered addenda issued by the City.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. The Chief Procurement Officer/Designee reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so
