at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read in the Office of Procurement Bid Room.
Bid documents and specifications will be available beginning October 21, 2019 at 9:00 A.M. Please refer to the bid number and the opening date when inquiring. This bid is subject to M.G.L. c. 30B.

City is requesting a bid on the sale of one (1) Crawford Model C1000P Incinerator. The Incinerator is located at the Thomas J. O’Connor Animal Control and Adoption Center located at 627 Cottage Street in Springfield. Bidders can view the Incinerator Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm. Notification of/request for a viewing would be helpful but not required. Please contact Pam Peebles at (413) 781-1022.

One (1) Original hard copy must be submitted in sealed envelope to the Office of Procurement, 36 Court Street, 3rd floor, Springfield, MA 01103 Attn: Lauren Stabilo, Chief Procurement Officer. All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be received by the Office of Procurement by October 29, 2019 in order to be acknowledged.

The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
