20-055 - IFB: Purchase of Athletic Equipment, Supplies and Athletic Uniforms

Bid specifications can be requested in person at the Office of Procurement during normal business hours or through the Citys website www.springfieldcityhall.com for no charge beginning on 11/05/19. Please refer to the bid number and the opening date when inquiring. Any bids received after the specified time will not be accepted. This bid is subject to M.G.L. Ch. 30B.

The Springfield Public Schools Department is seeking bids from qualified firms to enter into an agreement to provide Athletic Equipment, Supplies and Athletic Uniforms for their Athletic Department. Delivery to all school sites is MANDATORY. Bid prices must be held firm for all three years of the price agreement. No minimum order required for delivery.

Price agreement period will run from December 1, 2019 through November 30, 2020 with the option to renew for two (2) additional one (1) year terms. The estimated cost is $200,000.00 per year.

All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be received by the Office of Procurement at least seven business days prior to bid opening.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts.

The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
