20-029 - PA: General Music Equipment Start-Up Packages

Bid specifications can be requested in person at the Office of Procurement during normal business hours or through the Citys website at www.springfieldcityhall.com, for no charge beginning on 8/13/19. Any bids received after the specified time will not be accepted. This bid is subject to M.G.L. Ch. 30B.

The Springfield Public Schools (SPS) is currently seeking suppliers of musical instruments to equip a total of 24 schools throughout the district. The district identified various musical equipment required and created Start-Up Packages for each location. There are two packages created, one with a teacher cart and one without a cart.

SPS is looking to enter into a Price Agreement with a total not to exceed amount of $90,000.00.

Price agreement period will be from September 1, 2019 to August 31, 2020

All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be received by the Office of Procurement at least seven business days prior to bid opening.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts.

The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
