19-013 - Price Agreement: Automotive Parts

at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read. Bid documents and specifications will be available through the Citys website (www.springfieldcityhall.com) on July 16, 2018 or may be picked up in the Office of Procurement, 36 Court Street, Room 307, Springfield, MA 01103. Any bids received after the specified time will not be accepted. This bid is subject to M.G.L. Ch. 30B § 5 and other state procurement statutes.

The City of Springfield through its Fire Department, is seeking bids from qualified firms enter into a price agreement for the purchase of Automotive Parts, on an as-needed basis. Multiple contracts may be awarded to vendor(s) who are the most responsible and responsive bidders offering the lowest prices. The contract is estimated not to exceed $100,000.00.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
