at which time the bids will be privately opened and read. Bid documents and specifications will be available at no charge beginning April 9, 2018, at the Office of Procurement from 9:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M., or through the City’s website; www.springfieldcityhall.com. Please refer to the bid number and opening date when requesting. The services included in this RFP will fall under M.G.L. Ch. 30B §6 and other applicable procurement statutes.
The City of Springfield Department of Public Schools, through its Office of Procurement, requests proposals from qualified firms or individuals to enter into an Agreement to provide a Food Service Management System that will meet the District’s needs and provide functionality beyond the initially defined product lifecycle. This will include, Point of Sales, site and central kitchen production, site and kitchen ordering, site and kitchen receiving, and related serving and production needs, per RFP No. 18-132.
The City intends to award a single contract to the Most Advantageous proposal received. The term of this contract will be for Three (3) years, and is estimated not to exceed $300,000.00 over the life of the term.
All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be received by the Office of Procurement by April 16, 2018 at 4:30 P.M. The City of Springfield goal of twenty (20%) MWBE participation applies. The Office of Procurement reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
