Department of Parks, Buildings, and Recreation Management- Forestry Division
The City of Springfield Office of Procurement requests proposals from qualified firms or individuals to enter into a rental agreement for a work truck by the Department of Parks, Buildings and Recreation Management, MA per Bid No. 18-127.
Bids will be accepted until 2:00 p.m., April 18, 2018, at The Office of Procurement, City Hall, Room 307, 36 Court Street, Springfield, MA 01103, Tel.:(413) 787-6285; Fax: (413) 787-6295
This is an Invitation for Bids (IFB) per M.G.L. c. 30B § 5. The City is looking to enter into a 36 month lease for a 4WD single cab pickup truck for assistance with tree planting operations. The truck will be subjected to heavy use and will have approximately 10,000 miles per year of use. The lease term is for Three (3) years, but the City will also retain an option to purchase the vehicle at the end of the lease.

The City of Springfield goal of twenty (20%) MWBE participation applies. The City of Springfield reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
