at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read in the Office of Procurement Bid Room.

The City of Springfield Department of Parks, Buildings, and Recreation Management is soliciting bids for a Vendor to provide Comprehensive Maintenance Services for Boilers and Chillers (the “services”), which are located in buildings in various locations throughout the City. The scope of services for this IFB includes; the maintenance of a comprehensive chemical water treatment program for the Low Pressure Steam Boilers, Condensate Systems, and Closed Hot Water Heating Systems.
Only One (1) contract for these services will be awarded. Contract will be not to exceed $50,000.00 per year. Contract will be one (1) year in length and will have Two (2) one-year in length renewals, to be exercised at the City’s sole discretion.
Bidders must be ISO-9002 certified, must have been in business at least ten (10) years, and the service technicians must possess a current Applicator’s License. This licensing information must be submitted with bid. Product Data and MSDS sheets must be submitted with each bid and appropriately displayed at each location that work will be done.
All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be made in writing and received by the Office of Procurement by 9/18/17 at 4:30 P.M. in order to be considered. To receive a copy of the specifications, please use the above contact information.

The City of Springfield goal of twenty (20%) MWBE participation applies. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so. Some service locations require that the successful bidder’s employees be CORI checked.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
