Request for Qualifications (RFQ) Replacement of Centrifugal Pumps at Central High School

At which time the Proposals will be privately opened and read. RFP documents and specifications will be available beginning on August 23, 2017 in person at the Office of Procurement or through the City’s website; www.springfieldcityhall.com during normal business hours for no charge.

The City is seeking the services of a qualified “Designer” with the meaning of M.G.L. Chapter 7C, Section 1, to provide professional design and construction administration services for Replacement of Centrifugal Pumps at Central High School, located at 1840 Roosevelt Avenue, Springfield, MA 01109. Selection of a Designer will be made a Designer Selection Panel of the City of Springfield, in accordance with all sections of M.G.L. Chapter 7C, as amended by Chapter 165 of the Acts of 2012.

There will be an optional site visit on August 30, 2017 at 11:00 A.M on-site at the school. The Design Fee is to be a negotiated fee, not to exceed 10% of the ECC. Estimated Construction Cost is not to exceed $250,000.00. Proposers must submit written questions no later than September 1, 2017 at 4:40 P.M. Questions may be faxed or emailed. All Proposals becomes the property of the City of Springfield. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to reject any and all proposals if it is in the best interest of the City to do so. The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent (20%) minority and women (MWBE) participation in all contract

No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
