Invitation for Bids (RFP); Sale of Surplus Zamboni

At which time the Bids will be privately opened and read. Bid documents and specifications will be available beginning on April 26, 2017 in person at the Office of Procurement or through the City’s website; www.springfieldcityhall.com during normal business hours for no charge.

The City of Springfield Department of Parks, Buildings, and Recreation Management- Parks Division is seeking bids to purchase a surplus Zamboni machine. The machine is being sold “as-is”. 552E Zamboni Ice Re-surfacer, 10220lbs, believed to be 1993 manufacture.

The estimated value of the surplus property is $10,000.00. For purposes of award, the bidder offering the highest price of the item will be awarded the sale. Bidder is solley responsible for transporting unit off of City premises.

The IFB may be obtained April 26, 2017 electronically by contacting Theo G. Theocles, Esq, Deputy Procurement Officer, via email at ttheocles@springfieldcityhall.com or through the City’s website; www.springfieldcityhall.com between the hours of 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M.

All questions must be made in writing and received by the Office of Procurement no later May 3, 2017 at 4:30 P.M. in order to be considered.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts.
