Request for Qualifications (RFQ); Designer Services- Replacement of Hot/Chilled Water Condenser Pumps and Cooling Towers at Commerce High School

At which time the Proposals will be privately opened and read. RFP documents and specifications will be available beginning on December 7, 2016 in person at the Office of Procurement or through the City’s website; www.springfieldcityhall.com during normal business hours for no charge.

The City is seeking the services of a qualified “Designer” with the meaning of M.G.L. Chapter 7C, Section 1, to provide professional design and construction administration services for Replacement of Hot/Chilled Water Condenser Pumps and Cooling Towers at Commerce High School. Selection of a Designer will be made by the Designer Selection Panel of the City of Springfield, in accordance with all sections of M.G.L. Chapter 7C.

There will be an optional site visit on December 15, 2016 2016 at 2:30 P.M on-site at the school. The Design Fee is to be a negotiated fee, not to exceed 10% of the ECC. Estimated Construction Cost is not to exceed $250, 00.00. Proposers must submit written questions no later than December 9, 2016. Questions may be faxed or emailed. All Proposals becomes the property of the City of Springfield. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to reject any and all proposals if it is in the best interest of the City to do so. The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent (20%) minority and women (MWBE) participation in all contracts.
