Request for Qualifications (RFQ) Professional Services for Springfield Police Headquarters

At which time the Proposals will be privately opened and read. RFQ documents and specifications will be available beginning on July 21, 2016 in person at the Office of Procurement or through the City’s website; www.springfieldcityhall.com during normal business hour for no charge.
The City of Springfield seeks qualification and price proposals from qualified Design Professionals to perform the project entitled; “Springfield Police Headquarters”. The Police Headquarters building is located at 130 Pearl Street in Springfield, MA.
There will be an optional site visit on July 28, 2016 at 10:30 A.M. at 130 Pearl Street, Springfield, MA. Proposers are strongly encouraged to attend the site visitation. The Design Fee is to be negotiated, not to exceed 7% of the ECC. Estimated Construction Cost is between 55- 65 Million. The Owner is seeking design services for the renovation/new construction of 130 Pearl Street. The site consists of Five (5) acres of land with One (1) structures currently standing on it. The main building is approximately Eighty Six Thousand Nine Hundred square feet (86,900), including the basement.
Proposers must submit written questions seven (7) days prior to the RFQ response deadline, or August 11, 2016. Questions may be faxed or emailed. The Office of Procurement fax number is (413) 787-6295.
All Proposals becomes the property of the City of Springfield. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to reject any and all proposals if it is in the best interest of the City to do so. The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women (MWBE) participation in all contracts.
