at which time the bids will be privately opened and privately read. Bid documents and specifications will be available at no charge beginning 3/30/16 in person at the Office of Procurement or through the City's website for no charge during normal business hours.
The City is seeking proposals for qualified firms for Auctioneering Services for properties acquired through the tax title foreclosure process pursuant to Chapter 60 of the Massachusetts General Laws. Services include; property selection, site visitations, open houses, seminars, communication with interested parties, auctions, and reporting.
The Proposer must have a minimum of three (3) years' experience in auctioning real property (both residential and commercial) in Massachusetts. Contract value is estimated not to exceed $50,000.00 per year. Contract will be for one year with two renewal options. All questions must be made in writing and received by the Office of Procurement no later than April 19, 2016 in order to be considered.
The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
