at which time they will be publicly opened and read in the Office of Procurement Bid Room. This bid is subject to M.G.L. c.30B and other applicable statutes. Prevailing Wages may apply to this job.

Specifications will be available beginning on 4/13/16 in person at the Office of Procurement or through the City’s website, www.springfieldcityhall.com for no charge.

The City is seeking bids from qualified vendors to provide the labor and materials for tile and grout cleaning and restoration services at several school Buildings. Services include extraction of all odors, contaminates and mineralization from the tile and grout services. Total amount of tile to be restored is approximately 18,340 square feet. The estimated annual cost is $110,850.00. The length of the contract will not exceed One year in length.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts.
All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be made in writing and received by the Office of Procurement no later than April 20, 2016 in order to be considered. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.

No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals.
