16-093 - Trash Liners

The Department of Parks, Buildings and Recreation Management requires a contract with a qualified vendor to establish prices to supply, and deliver trash liners to various schools and other public buildings in Springfield. The initial term of the contract is one year. The contract is estimated at $150,000 per year. The contract may be renewed at the City's option for two additional years.

Product Bid Specifications

Trash Liners- 37"x 46", 1.5 mil, clear, LLDPE virgin resin, star seal, 10 rolls/10 bags/case. Case weight: 15.90 lbs. Sample and proof of case weight required.

Trash Liners- 37" x 46", 1.5 mil, clear, 30% recycle content, LLDPE resin, no high density resin 10 rolls/ 10bags/case. Case weight: 15.90 lbs. Sample and proof of case weight required.

All bidders are advised that the City of Springfield encourages the use of minority and women owned business enterprises (MWBE) and expects a good faith effort to comply with the City's goal of twenty (20%) MWBE participation.

The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
