Department of Parks, Buildings, and Recreation Management- Facilities Division

Sealed bids for a Prime Contractor contract are requested through the Office of Procurement. Bidding procedures are per Massachusetts General Laws (M.G.L.) Chapter 30§39M as amended and other applicable statutes.

Bids for Prime/General Contractor will be accepted at the Office of Procurement (Room 307 City Hall) until 2:00PM on August 21, 2015, at which time they will be publicly opened and read.

The City of Springfield is seeking bids for from qualified contractors to supply and install a digital LED sign at Duggan School in Springfield. The Sign must be within the Daktronics 3550 series or of a comparable make and quality.

Estimated cost of the project is not to exceed $35, 000.00. Bidders will be required to pay Prevailing Wages or Davis Bacon rates whenever applicable.

Site Visit: Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend a site visit scheduled for August 13, 2015, at 11:00 A.M. at the Duggan School, located at 1015 Wilbraham Road, Springfield MA.

Bidding Documents will be available for no charge at the Office of Procurement (36 Court Street, Room 307, Springfield, MA 01103) in person during normal business hours or through the City's website: www.springfieldcityhall.com beginning on August 7, 2015.

Al questions must be submitted in writing and received by the Office of Procurement (email: ttheocles@springfieldcityhall.com or fax (413) 787-6295) no later than August 14, 2015 before 4:30 P.M. The City reserves the right to waive any informality in, or to revoke, any or all bids, if in the public interest to do so.
