at which time the proposals will be privately opened and logged. RFP documents and specifications will be available through the City's website (www.springfieldcityhall.com) on July 15, 2015 or may be picked up in the Office of Procurement, 36 Court Street, Room 307, Springfield, MA 01103. Any bids received after the specified time will not be accepted. This RFP is subject to M.G.L. Ch. 30B and other state procurement statutes.
The City of Springfield Public Schools is proposals bids from qualified firms enter into a Three (3) year contract for the establishment, operation, management of a Copy Center or Managed Print Operation. The SPS is seeking vendors to meet established service level agreements for a high volume copy center to service the Public Schools. The SPS is simultaneously seeking proposals for the maintenance and repair of its MFD and Desktop Pinter Fleets. The RFO also contains an internship component, as well as an optional Courier/Mailing Services component.
The contract(s) is estimated to be a value of $4,500,000.00 for the entire Three (3) year contract. All questions must be made in writing and received by the Office of Procurement no later than August 5, 2015 at 4:30 P.M. in order to be considered.
All bidders are advised that the City of Springfield encourages the use of minority and women-owned business enterprises ("MWBE") and expects a good faith effort to comply with the City's goal of twenty (20%) percent MWBE participation.
The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
