15-271 - IFB: Purchase of (2) Cargo Vans for School Foodservice Department

End date: Wednesday June 17, 2015 at 2 p.m.

Bid documents and specifications will be available at no charge beginning June 3, 2015 at the Office of Procurement or by requesting a copy on the City's website on the Procurement Department page at www.springfieldcityhall.com. Please refer to the bid number and the opening date when inquiring.

This Invitation for Bids is in accordance with M.G.L. Chapter 30B.

The City of Springfield through its Public Schools is seeking competitive bids for the purchase of (2) Cargo Vans with a minimum GVWR of 9000 lbs. The units will be used by the School Food Service Department for transporting supplies and equipment required for their operations. Each unit shall be the manufacturer\'s latest model. The unit shall be furnished and delivered new, complete and ready for use.

The estimated cost is $55,000.00.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts.
