SPG 14-168 - Lease of Property Snack Bar/Food & Beverage Concession at Franconia Golf Course Clubhouse

Bid documents and specifications will be available at no charge through two channels beginning January 22, 2014 at 9:00 A.M.

1. Online at www.comm-pass.com by selecting the Solicitation tab and using the Browse All Open by Entity (City of Springfield) option at any time 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
2. In person at the Office of Procurement, 36 Court Street, Room 307, Springfield, MA 01103 during normal business days, Monday through Friday between 8:30 AM and 4:00 PM. Please refer to the bid number and the opening date when inquiring. This bid is subject to M.G.L. c. 30B.

The Department of Parks, Buildings, and Recreation Management, is seeking proposals from qualified individuals, corporations or business entities (whether for-profit or non-profit) to operate, manage and maintain a food concession facility at the Franconia Golf Course in Springfield, Massachusetts. A minimum bid for the annual lease contract is set at $15,000.00 per year. The selected vendor will operate the food and beverage concession and be responsible for upkeep and maintenance of the leased property as described in the specifications. The successful proposal will, at a minimum, provide affordable, high-quality food and beverage items for consumption in a Club house environment during a minimum operating season of March 1 through November 30, daily (seven days a week).

The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts.

All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be received by the Office of Procurement no later than February 11, 2014 by 4:00 P.M.
