The Work under the Contract consists of removal of asbestos-containing materials, building demolition; utility disconnects and site restoration work as designated in the Contract Documents. All work shall be performed by Massachusetts licensed Contractors in accordance with local, state and federal regulations. The Project is estimated to cost Two Hundred Ten Thousand Dollars and 00/100($210,000. 00).
Bids are subject to M.G.L. Ch.149 §44A (2) (B) and to minimum Prevailing Wage rates as required by M.G.L. Ch.l49 §26 to §27H / Davis Bacon Wage Rates.
Site Visit: The following properties will be open for walk through on July 2, 2014 for each of the following properties at the sites, between the hours of 10:00 A.M.- 12:00 P.M.; 17 Adams Street, 24 Alden Street, 115 Allen Street 00280-1387 (Rear Barn), 232 Eastern Avenue, 19 Pine Street Court, 11-15 Pine Street, and 43 Queen Street. The site walk will provide an opportunity for interested parties to inspect the site and all particulars and resolve questions regarding the scope of work, existing conditions and the specifications.
Bids are to be recieved by the Office of Procurement no later than July 11, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. All questions regarding specifications must be submitted in writing, no later than Thursday, July 3, 2014 by 4:00 PM.
