SPG 13-377 - Price Agreement for Rental of Construction Equipment With or Without Operator

The Department of Parks Buildings and Recreation Management requires price agreement contracts with qualified suppliers of rental construction equipment with or without operators to establish prices to supply the needs for construction work at various sites in Springfield. The initial term of the contracts is one year. The contracts are estimated at $750,000.00 per year, per vendor. The City retains the option to renew any resulting contracts for another two one-year terms. The City intends to award contracts to up to three vendors for rental of the equipment listed in the specifications.

The work of this contract is governed by the prevailing wage rate schedule in the specifications. This Invitation for Bids is in accordance with M.G.L. c. 30 sec. 39M.
The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts.

The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to accept any bid, to reject and/or all bids and to waive minor irregularities and/or formalities as it deems to be in the best interest of the City.
