Vendor must possess a current D.C.A.M. certificate for Alarm Systems. Massachusett prevailing wages apply under this project.

The City of Springfield is soliciting bids for a one (1) year contract with a two (2) year renewal provision to provide Monitoring, Maintenance, Data Base Management, Upgrades, Modifications and New Systems services to its existing installed security, video surveillance and access control systems at each of the facilities listed within this document and additional City of Springfield facilities as required. In order to provide these services, any vendor submitting a bid must be capable of utilizing all existing components owned by the City. Contract is to begin July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012.
All bidders are advised that the City of Springfield encourages the use of minority and women-owned business enterprises ("MWBE") and expects a good faith effort to comply with the City's goal of twenty (20%) percent MWBE participation.
The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
