The City of Springfield School School Building Commission is seeking competitive bids for furnishing of School Equipment to the Roger L. Putnam Vocational Technical High School. Equipment will be for the Automotive Technology Program, Automotive Collision, Carpentry, Cosmetology, Hospitality/Tourism, and Horticulture/Landscaping Programs. Delivery/Installation are to be included. Estimated total cost is $900,000.00

Bid surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount bid must accompany each bid. Certified or bank checks only, letters of credit or bonds will be accepted.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts.

The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.

All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be received by the Office of Procurement at least seven business days prior to bid opening.
