11-221 - Property Maintenance Services for Springfield Redevelopment Authority

SRA is seeking bids for property maintenance service. The purpose of this Invitation for bid is to provide the SRA with a qualified service provider who has the capability to furnishing all equipment and labor necessary to perform the tasks described in the Scope of Work.
Bids shall include but are not limited to the following tasks: board & secure, minor carpentry, electrical, HVAC and plumbing work; Painting, water damage remediation, landscaping, removal of trash/debris and/or bulk items from SRA properties.
Bid documents will be available on February 9, 2011 at www.biddocsonline.com may be viewed electronically and hardcopy requested) or at Nashoba Blue, Inc. at 433 Main Street, Hudson, MA 01749 (978-568-1167).
Bidders requesting documents to be mailed (via regular mail) to them shall include a check for $5.00 per set payable to Biddocsonline, Inc. to cover mail handling costs.
The Contract shall be a Unit Price Agreement with a "Not-To-Exceed" Fixed Amount of $40,000.00. The SRA reserves the right at its sole discretion to renew or extend the contract for one (1) additional year.
Bidding procedures are per Massachusetts General Laws (M.G.L.) Chapter 30 sec. 39M as amended and other applicable statutes.
The Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so. The SRA is an EEO/MBE/WBE/DBE employer
The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
