11-030 - Bus Transportation for After School Programs, Summer Enrichment Program and On-Call Services for Var
End date: Tuesday August 17, 2010 at 2 p.m.This bid invitation covers transportation needs of the City of Springfield, including needs for school and summer enrichment students and certain school/summer enrichment staff for two way transportation for summer 2011 and one way transportation for our After School program for the school year 2010-11 which begins August 30, 2010 and, as per the requirements and specifications of the Springfield Public Schools and the Department of Parks, Buildings and Recreation Management. This is a joint effort between the Springfield Public Schools and The Department of Parks, Buildings, and Recreation Management - Parks Division, controlled by The Department of Parks, Buildings, and Recreation Management.
This bid contains seven (7) parts. A separate bid response and price proposal is required for each part. Bidders may submit a bid on only one, on some, or on all seven parts.
Questions regarding the IFB may also be submitted in writing to the Office of Procurement. In order to provide prompt answers to questions, the Chief Procurement Officer requests that all Proposers submit written questions seven days prior to the IFB response deadline. Accordingly, questions must be received in writing only at the City of Springfield's, Office of Procurement on August 10, 2010 by 4:00 P.M. Questions may be faxed or mailed. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
