10-304 - Flags, Flagpoles, Plaques, Buttons and Misl. Accessories

City of Springfield wishes to enter into an agreement for a vendor to supply the City of Springfield with flagpoles, flags, plaques, buttons and accessories. The vendor (s) selected must be able service the City with requirements on large or special orders. The City reserves the right to award this contract to three vendors Bidders can submit prices and information on products that are considered to be "equal" to catalog items listed in specifications.

This price agreement maybe used by all City Departments. Accessories to include name badges, decals, acrylic awards, Lanyards, buttons and labels etc. The City of Springfield is requesting that the vendor (s) selected be located within a (15) miles distance of the greater Springfield area. The Price Agreement period shall be from January 1, 2010 thru December 31, 2010.

The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
