422 - RFP: Credit Recovery Program

The School Committee of the City of Springfield wishes to obtain the services of a qualified contractor to design and/or customize and implement a credit recovery program to enable students to recover academic credit for courses that are required for promotion and/or graduation.

Detail of proposed services are to be delivered including an approximate timeline for providing those services assuming a July 1, 2009 start date and continuation of services through June 30, 2010. This agreement may be extended at the City of Springfield's option. All requests for proposals submitted must guarantee prices through June 30, 2012. Estimated cost of the project is $400,000.00 per year.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
