10-002 - Bus Tranportation During the Summer of 2009 for Springfield School Department/ Transportation Dept.
End date: Thursday June 11, 2009 at 2 p.m.This Bid Invitation covers the transportation of school students and certain school staff for the summer months. The contract shall be awarded for the summer of 2009 only, covering the period of June 29, 2009 through July 31, 2009. Estimated cost of this contract $125,000.00.
A $50,000 bid bond is required with each bid submittal. It will be accepted by and made payable to the City of Springfield.
Each bidder shall include with its bid documentation giving clear evidence that it currently has the available buses that meet the contract requirements, the Springfield Public Schools requires the vendor(s) to give clear evidence with its bid of commitment and ability to satify all said requirements by the time for execution of the contract.
The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts.
The Chief Procurment Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so. No questions will be answered unless received by the CPO at least seven business days prior to the expiration of the time set for filing bids.
