71 - PA:Repair Parts for Expert 2000 and Top Select Refuse Collection Trucks

The City of Springfield Department of Public Works is seeking competitive bids for supplying repair parts for refuse collection trucks. Parts to be utilized on LaBrie Expert 2000 and Top Select refuse collection trucks. The vendor must pickup and deliver to DPW, 70 Tapley, Street, Springfield, MA 01104.

Estimated cost is $43,000.00 per year. This price agreement has an option to renew for two additional one- year terms.

All products delivered to the City of Springfield will be new and in unopened cases or boxes, or in a condition acceptable to the user/purchaser. Vendor must conduct a fleet survey within 30 days after bid is awarded and make recommendations on what to stock based on high usage. Cost of Repair Parts will beat Below Jobber (Blue) price.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts.

The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.

All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be received by the Department of Purchase at least seven business days prior to bid opening.
