89 - Institutional Cleaning Services for Springfield Library Department
End date: Wednesday October 18, 2006 at 2 p.m.The City of Springfield Library Department is seeking bid proposals for institutional cleaning services for the Central Library and its nine branch libraries. The cleaning services shall consist of all labor and equipment as well as those materials/supplies specified in Section 7.0. The City will award a single contract for all libraries. The contract for Library Department cleaning services shall be for a one (1) year term commencing on December 1, 2006 through November 30, 2007, with options to renew for up to two (2) additional one-year terms.
IT IS MANDATORY THAT EACH BIDDER VISIT THE SITES OF THE PROPOSED WORK AND FULLY ACQUAINT HIMSELF/HERSELF WITH THE EXISTING CONDITIONS IN ORDER TO PERFORM SAID CONTRACT BEFORE SUBMITTING BID. Arrangements to visit the libraries may be made by calling the Library Director's office at 263-6828 x 290.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts.
