252 - RFP: Personal Property Valuation Services

The Board of Assessors is seeking sealed proposals from all interested contractors for listing, coding and valuation updating services on all personal property in the City of Springfield for implementation in Fiscal Year 2008, with options for continued services and subsequent maintenance services for Fiscal Years 2009 and 2010. The contractors must have a staff of at least 10 full-time, non-clerical individuals dedicated to providing revaluation services. The Timetable as proposed, must evidence a project completion date for the Fiscal Year 2008 revaluation on or before June 6, 2007. The proposed Project Director must have at least fifteen (15) years experience in a Project Director capacity relative to personal property valuation. The Contractor must evidence the successful completion of at least twenty (20) personal property projects containing at least 1,000 accounts. Estimated value of this contract is $120,000.00 for the first year.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
