231 - Repair Services: Emergency and General Repairs to HVAC Equipment

The City of Springfield Massachusetts, Department of Parks, Buildings & Recreation Management (D.P.B. & R.M.)- Facilities Division wishes to enter into an emergency and general repairs service agreement, for the repairs of HVAC Equipment, other than Centrifugal Chillers (Centrifugal Equipment will be bid separately). The Vendor must provide twenty-four (24) hour, seven (7) day week, emergency repair service for HVAC Equipment, at a variety of locations.

The time period shall be from April 1, 2007 thru March 31, 2008. The Price Agreement's Base Term is for One Year and may be renewable for two (2), one (1) year renewal options, at the mutual written consent of all parties involved.

The Estimated Hours shall be 1,000 hours, and the Estimated Value shall be $250,000.00.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 10 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
