206A - Concession: Sale of Food and Beverages at Franconia Golf Course

End date: Monday March 12, 2007 at 2 p.m.

The Springfield Board of Park Commissioners, are requesting bids from qualified vendors, experienced in the preparation and sale of food and beverages, for concession rights for food and beverage sales at Franconia golf course in Springfield, MA. The annual contract terms are specified below.

Period of Agreement for above service is from: March 19, 2007 through November 30, 2007. Minimum bid for the annual contract term at Franconia is $25,000.00. The City may at is sole option, extend these contracts for an additional two (2) years. A $15,000 letter of credit must be submitted with the bids as evidence of financial capacity.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
