at which time they will be publicly opened and read. Bid documents and specifications will be available at no charge beginning January 21, 2026 through the City’s website; www.springfieldcityhall.com. The services included in this bid will fall under M.G.L. Ch. 30 § 39M and other applicable procurement statutes.

The City of Springfield is seeking bids from qualified contractors to provide various species of trees and to conduct plantings of said trees as required by City Forester. The City intends to award a contract to up to Three (3) contractors not to exceed $300,000.00. Contracts will be Three (3) years in length.

All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be received by the Office of Procurement (nwalker@springfieldcityhall.com) by January 28, 2026 at 4:30 P.M. The City of Springfield goal of twenty (20%) MWBE participation applies. MA Prevailing Wages will apply. The Office of Procurement reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
