at which time the bids will be publicly open and read in the Office of Procurement. The City of Springfield invites all interested, qualified persons or firms capable of providing the requested services, to submit bids to enter into an agreement to provide Improvements to Forest Park Fitness Course, 200 Trafton Rd, Springfield, MA 01108. This bid falls under M.G.L. Ch. 30§39M and other procurement statutes.
Project includes temporary sediment & erosion controls, earthwork, bituminous concrete walkways, installation of owner-supplied site amenities & outdoor exercise equipment, base preparation for safety surfacing, landscaping. Estimated value of the contract is approximately $115,000.00. Bid documents can be requested through the City’s website; www.springfieldcityhall.com beginning on October 21, 2026.
It is strongly encouraged to attend a site visit on 10/27/2026 at 9:00 AM on site. All questions regarding this bid or its specifications must be made in writing and received by the Office of Procurement no later than 10/28/2026 (AD’Angelo@springfieldcityhall.com) in order to be considered. The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women (MWBE) participation in all contracts. MA DLS Prevailing Wage rates apply.
