26-036 - Integrated Pest Management Services - School Buildings

The City of Springfield invites all interested, qualified persons or firms capable of providing the required services, to submit bids for on-call pest management services for the Springfield Public School Buildings. Bidders must be familiar with integrated pest management systems. This RFP is subject to M.G.L. c. 30B § 6. The Contractor must be Certified and Licensed by the Massachusetts Pesticide Board, and must only use Pesticides approved under the Families Protection Act of 2000.

The City will award one Contract to the Contractor that provides the lowest cost of the goods to the City. Estimated value of the contract is not to exceed $100,000.00 per year. The initial term of the Contract will be one year, but will contain two (2) one-year renewal options, to be exercised at the Citys sole discretion. Bid documents can be requested through the Citys website; www.springfieldcityhall.com beginning on September 16, 2025.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women (MWBE) participation in all contracts. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all proposals if it is in the public interest to do so.

All questions regarding the RFP or its specifications must be received by the Office of Procurement on or before September 23, 2025 by 4:30 PM
