This Invitation for Bids is in accordance with M.G.L. Chapter 30B.
The City of Springfield, through the School Department requests bids for the Cleaning and Reconditioning of Athletic Football Equipment and Football Replacement/New Equipment.
Price Agreement period will be Upon Execution through August 31,2026 with the option to renew for two (2) additional one (1) year terms. Estimated cost is $75,000.00 per year. Any vendor submitting a proposal must include a formal statement of net worth or have product liability insurance of not less than $10,000,000.00. Failure to submit this formal statement will result in disqualification of the bid/proposal.
All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be received by the Office of Procurement (lstabilo@springfieldcityhall.com and jmaxey@springfieldcityhall.com) by September 10, 2025 at 4:30P.M.
The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts.
The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
