at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read. Bid documents and specifications will be available Monday, September 8, 2025 at no charge, at the Office of Procurement from 9:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M., or through the City’s website; www.springfield-ma.gov. Please refer to the bid number and opening date when requesting. The services included in this bid will fall under M.G.L. c.30B § 5 and other applicable procurement statutes.

The Springfield Department of Public Works (DPW) is seeking to obtain a price agreement for service and repair for Labrie Refuse Collection Trucks. The estimated annual cost is $300,000.00. The term of the contract awarded is One (1) year in length with two options to renew.

All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be received by the Office of Procurement by Tuesday September 16, 2025, at 4:30 P.M. (AD’Angelo@springfieldcityhall.com). The City of Springfield’s goal of twenty (20%) MWBE participation applies. The Office of Procurement reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
