26-006 - FOR SALE: OBSOLETE/SCRAP POLICE DEPARTMENT VEHICLES

End date: Tuesday July 29, 2025 at 2 p.m.

Bid documents and specifications will be available beginning July 14, 2025 at the Office of Procurement.

Bidders can request a copy on the City’s website on the Procurement Department page at www.springfieldcityhall.com. This bid is subject to M.G.L. c. 30B.

City is requesting bids on the sale obsolete/scrap vehicles. The vehicles have been used for parts and are no longer any use to the department. Vehicles should be purchased for scrap.

Bidders wishing to view items may do so by contacting Sergeant Juan Estrada Marquez, Fleet Supervisor at (413) 787-6347at the
Police Department at 130 Pearl Street, Springfield MA 01103.

All questions regarding the bid or its specifications must be made in writing and emailed to Carol Teixeira-Dragon CT-Dragon@springfieldcityhall.com no later than July 22, 2025 in order to be considered. Answers to questions will be emailed through numbered addenda issued by the City.

The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals.
