at which time the bids will be publicly open and read in the Office of Procurement. The City of Springfield invites all interested, qualified persons or firms capable of providing the requested services, to submit bids to enter into an agreement to provide irrigation system to Godfrey Triangle, located at the intersection of Holly Street, Berkshire Street & Berkshire Avenue, Springfield MA 01151. This bid falls under M.G.L. Ch. 30§39M and other procurement statutes.

Project includes discontinuation of existing main, installation of new service, backflow device, install cabinet, conduit, irrigation nodes and sensors, etc. Estimated value of the contract is approximately $60,000.00. Bid documents can be requested through the City’s website; www.springfieldcityhall.com (during normal business hours) beginning on May 14, 2025.

It is strongly encouraged to attend a site visit on May 21, 2025 at 10:00 AM on site. All questions regarding this bid or its specifications must be made in writing and received by the Office of Procurement no later than May 21, 2025 by 4:30 P.M. (nwalker@springfieldcityhall.com) in order to be considered. The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women (MWBE) participation in all contracts. MA DLS Prevailing Wage rates apply. The Chief Procurement Officer/Designee reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
