at which time they will be publicly opened and read. Bid forms will be available on the City’s website, www.springfieldcityhall.com on June 13, 2022, under the Available Solicitations tab.

The Springfield Police Department is seeking to obtain a price agreement for Authorized Ford Mechanical Repairs and Services for Police Vehicles. Vendors must be fully registered as a motor vehicle repair shop defined under chapter 100A of the Massachusetts General Laws.

The City intends to award up to Two (2) potential contracts to the lowest responsible and eligible bidder(s). The estimated value of the contract is not to exceed $75,000.00 per year. The initial term of the contract awarded is One (1) year in length, and the City will retain Two (2) one-year in length renewal options. This bid is subject to M.G.L. c.30B § 5 and other procurement statutes.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts.

All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be received by the Office of Procurement no later than June 20, 2022 by 4:30 P.M. to Katie Vegh at kvegh@springfieldcityhall.com . The Chief Procurement Officer/Designee reserves the right to waive any informality and to reject any or all bids.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
