at which time they will be publicly opened and read in the Office of Procurement. Bid documents can be requested through the City’s website; www.springfield-ma.gov (during normal business hours) beginning on March 7, 2022 under the “Available Solicitations” tab.

The City of Springfield Department of Parks, Buildings, and Recreation Management – Parks Division is seeking to obtain a price agreement for Portable Toilet Rentals. The estimated value of the contract is not to exceed $100,000.00 per year. The initial term of the contract awarded is One (1) year in length, and the City will retain Two (2) one-year in length renewal options. This bid falls under M.G.L. c.30B § 5 and other procurement statutes.

All questions regarding the IFB or its specifications must be received in writing by the Office of Procurement on or before March 15, 2022 by 4:30 P.M. (nwalker@springfieldcityhall.com) in order to be considered. The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women (MWBE) participation in all contracts. The Chief Procurement Officer/Designee reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
