SPG 12-348 - Purchase of six (6) Multi-Function School Activity Buses

End date: Tuesday April 10, 2012 at 2 p.m.

Bid documents and specifications will be available at no charge beginning March 26, 2012.

The City is looking to obtain six (6) Multi-Function School Activity Buses with a minimum GVWR of 12,300 lbs. The unit(s) must be manufacturer's latest model. The unit(s) will be used by the Roger L. Putnam Vocational Technical Academy for transporting students to various activities. Estimated cost: $300,000.00.

The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to accept any bid, to reject and/or all bids and to waive minor irregularities and/or formalities as it deems to be in the best interest of the City.

This Invitation for Bids is in accordance with M.G.L. Chapter 30B.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts.
