10-405 - Services- Police Headquarters UPS Room Renovations

A refundable deposit of $25.00, in the form of a certified or bank check to the order of "The City of Springfield, MA" is required. The deposit will be refunded to all who return the documents complete and in good condition within 30 days of the opening of bids. All inquiries should reference the bid number and the opening dates. Estimated cost of project is $35,000.

The work consists of interior renovations including selective demolition, interior masonry partitions, steel lintels, doors, ceiling, flooring and millwork to create a new UPS and revised supply room layout.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
