at which time the bids will be publicly reviewed in the Office of Procurement Bid Room. Bid documents and specifications will be available at no charge beginning Monday, November 2, 2026 at 9:00 A.M.

The successful bidder shall provide four (4) 2026 Harley-Davidson FLTRXP Road Glide Police Motorcycles, fully outfitted with police equipment: The City’s SPD owns and operates a fleet of Harley-Davidson Road Glides and considers it important to purchase the same brand and model type with specific accessories to maintain operational experience and knowledge.
All questions must be submitted in writing and received no later than November 9, 2026 to ct-dragon@springfieldcityhall.com by 4:30 P.M. EST in order to be considered. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to accept any bid, to reject and/or all bids and to waive minor irregularities and/or formalities as it deems to be in the best interest of the City. This Invitation for Bids is in accordance with M.G.L. Chapter 30B. The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts

No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
