at which time the Bids will be opened and read in the Office of Procurement. Bid documents and specifications will be available beginning July 13, 2026 at the Office of Procurement. Bidders can request a copy on the City’s website on the Procurement Department page at www.springfieldcityhall.com. This bid is subject to M.G.L. c. 30B.

City is requesting bids on the sale of twenty-three (23) obsolete vehicles. The vehicles have been used for parts and are no longer any use to the department. Vehicles should be purchased for scrap. Bidders wishing to view items may do so by contacting Sergeant Juan Estrada Marquez, Fleet Supervisor at (413) 787-6347at the
Police Department at 130 Pearl Street, Springfield MA 01103.

All questions regarding the bid or its specifications must be made in writing and emailed to Carol Teixeira-Dragon CT-Dragon@springfieldcityhall.com no later than July 21, 2026 in order to be considered. Answers to questions will be emailed through numbered addenda issued by the City. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
