at which time the proposals will be publicly open and read in the Office of Procurement.

The City of Springfield invites all interested, qualified persons or firms capable of providing the requested goods, to submit bids for the purchase and delivery of various paint supplies to the City of Springfield. This IFB is subject to M.G.L. c. 30B section 5.

The City intends to award a contract(s) to up to Three (3) vendors that are the most responsible and responsive bidders offering the lowest prices for the solicited goods and is capable of performing. Estimated value of the contract is approximately $175,000.00 per year. The initial term of the Contract will be one year, but will contain two (2) one-year in length renewal options, to be exercised at the Citys sole discretion. Bid documents can be requested through the Citys website; www.springfieldcityhall.com or in person (during normal business hours) beginning on January 26, 2026. All questions regarding the IFB or its specifications must be received by the Office of Procurement on or before February 3, 2026 by 4:30 PM.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women (MWBE) participation in all contracts. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all proposals if it is in the public interest to do so.
