at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read. Bid documents and specifications will be available at no charge beginning July 16, 2025, through the City’s website, www.springfieldcityhall.com. Please refer to the bid number and opening date when requesting.

The City is seeking Contractors to perform Floor Finishing and Screening services on an on-call and scheduled basis at various City locations. The City intends to award a contract to up to two (2) vendors that are the lowest responsible and eligible bidder(s). The total value of the contract(s) is Four Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($450,000.00 to one vendor or $225,000 each to two vendors). This contract is for One (1) year, but will include Two (2) one-year in length renewal options, to be exercised at the City’s sole discretion. The bid is governed by Massachusetts General Laws Ch. 149 and other procurement statutes. All Bidders must be DCAMM certified.

All questions regarding this bid or its specifications must be received in writing by the Office of Procurement by July 23, 2025 (nwalker@springfieldcityhall.com). The City of Springfield goal of twenty (20%) MWBE participation applies. Massachusetts DLS Prevailing Wage rates may apply. The Chief Procurement Officer/Designee reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
